Xbox Game Pass Confirms 9 More Games for March, Including 5 Day One Releases
It’s the middle of the month, which means Microsoft has revealed the new Xbox Game Pass games coming in the next couple of weeks. In total, Xbox Game Pass subscribers have nine more games to look forward to in March 2022, including a whopping five day one titles, making March one of the more impressive months for the service to date in terms of day one releases.
The rest of the Xbox Game Pass games for March 2022 will start coming to the service on March 17 with the addition of Shredders and The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos. Shredders is a day one Xbox Game Pass game; it’s a snowboarding title that will be coming to the Cloud and PC, but is an Xbox Series X console exclusive. It’s one of the rare Xbox Series X console exclusive games, which makes it one of the more notable additions to the lineup.
Then on March 22, two more games will be coming to Xbox Game Pass. On console, fans can look forward to the addition of Tainted Grail: Conquest, while those across PC, Cloud, and Console can play Zero Escape: The Nonary Games. Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is a collection of the first two games in the Zero Escape series, giving Game Pass subscribers the chance to check out 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward.
New Xbox Game Pass Games March 2022
- Shredders (Cloud/PC/Xbox Series X/) – March 17
- The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos (Cloud/Console/PC) – March 17
- Tainted Grail: Conquest (Console) – March 22
- Zero Escape: The Nonary Games (Cloud/Console/PC) – March 22
- A Memoir Blue (TBD) – March 24
- Norco (PC) – March 24
- F1 2021 (Console – Xbox Game Pass Ultimate only) – March 24
- Crusader Kings 3 (Xbox Series X) – March 29
- Weird West (Cloud/Console/PC) – March 31
March 24 will be a bit of a strange day for Xbox Game Pass. PC Game Pass subscribers are getting an exclusive game in the form of Norco, while those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be able to get F1 2021. F1 2021 is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate through its integration with EA Play, which means it will not be available to vanilla Game Pass subscribers, unfortunately. And then there’s A Memoir Blue to consider, which is a new narrative-driven game from Annapurna Interactive. A Memoir Blue was previously announced for Xbox Game Pass, but it’s missing from Microsoft’s latest Game Pass reveals. It’s possible that this was an error on Microsoft’s part, but it’s also possible that the game is getting delayed, and it just hasn’t been announced by the publisher yet.
Things will get back on track starting March 29 when the console version of Crusader Kings 3 joins Xbox Game Pass as a day one game. Crusader Kings 3 is already available on the PC version of Game Pass, but it has yet to release for consoles. Like the aforementioned Shredders, Crusader Kings 3 is going to be an Xbox Series X-only game when it launches on Game Pass, making it another rare title that does not have an Xbox One version available.
And finally, Weird West is launching for Xbox Game Pass on March 31. Weird West was originally supposed to release for Xbox Game Pass back in January, only for its release date to get pushed back. It will finally launch on March 31, so Xbox Game Pass subscribers don’t have to wait long at all to see if it lives up to the hype.
